The Schlage Electronics 653-14-L2 keyswitch has a DPDT maintained single-direction switch, includes LED indicators, and acts as a keyed door release to an electronic locking mechanism, such as an electromagnetic lock and electric strike. One green and one red LED provides visual confirmation when the door is locked and unlocked. The DPDT maintained single-direction switch accepts a lock cylinder that turns both clockwise or counterclockwise (sold separately) and maintains its positioning after turning. This maintained switch can be configured to return immediately to its original position when released (momentary switch) by changing the magnetic spring. The single-gang wall plate is made of stainless steel and has a satin chrome finish.
