This spotlight has an industrial grade tungsten filament bulb that is designed for 1200+ hours of life and is capable of producing a 900' beam of light rated to 5 million candlepower. The hl-85 spotlight comes with a detachable 16 foot coil cord with Cigarette plug. The single spring design of the Cigarette plug fit tightly into the socket and will not come loose or cause blinking when the operator moves the cord. It also comes with a 3/8-16 inch brass nut embedded in the base of the handle. This allows the operator to attach the spotlight to a magnetic base or tripod for even more versatility. The hl-85 is built to last with a shatter-resistant polycarbonate lens and a UV, water, impact and chemical resistant body. A uniquely shaped lens allows the light to be focused more efficiently and reduces light spillage for a more effective and focused source of light when compared to other handheld spotlights on the market. The head of the spotlight can be rotated by the operator to adjust the beam from a flood pattern to a focused spotlight beam. Continued rotation allows the head to be removed for easy bulb Replacement when necessary. When placed into the spotlight configuration, 90% of the light produced by the bulb is captured and focused.
